What is RENNDVOUS?
An idea that sprouted in 2014, RENNDVOUS is “an ideal haven for car enthusiasts” that blossomed into so much more. Through a blend of vehicle listings, sales listings, affiliate marketing, and advertising, RENNDVOUS offers a home to enthusiasts of all kinds. The project originally was brainstormed back in 2014 and slowly evolved over time to become the conglomerate it is today. Officially incorporated in November 2020, RENNDVOUS currently has more than 2,200 users and 1,800 vehicles uploaded with more than 10,000 parts.

What RENNDVOUS Means to Me?
RENNDVOUS is extremely important to me because not only is it a passion project that is capable of generating revenue, but is also going to change the scope of the Car Community for the future.
When I was a young kid at the local Cars and Coffee, I could vaguely understand what I was looking at, but only from the surface. Always wanting to learn more, I knew that no solution existed to quickly learn more about the vehicles in front of me. Anytime I was stuck on schoolwork, I could venture onto Google and figure out rapidly on Wikipedia every answer, but I could not figure out exactly what I was looking at right in front of me at theses car events. Every vehicle is built differently, as the owner modifies it to their preference, so why not offer the ability to explain it in depth? This is a niche I felt I could fulfill.

Where RENNDVOUS Leads Me?
Owning a business, especially one in the automotive sector, has many strengths and weaknesses. Many automotive enthusiasts prioritize their car above most other expenses, making the sales of anything nonessential extremely difficult. By essential, it could be assumed that maintenance items or reliability items are being included, however automotive enthusiasts are different and often perceive performance and aesthetic modifications as essential.
Overall, I personally feel as though I have developed a strong sense of marketing technique, as well as social media marketing skills, which are interestingly very different from generic marketing. I think that my experience with my own company could allow me to work with or for another similar company in the future, as well as other companies in the automotive sector. Not only has the business allowed me to learn valuable lessons, but has learned me to network with valuable people as well. Some of those I have worked with have taught me lessons that would have taken decades for me to learn on my own, but mentoring me along the way has proven to be extremely fruitful.
